The 2012 Huntsville Festival of the Arts artisan is Carolyne Wagland.
Producing art has always been an important part of Carolyne's life. The need to create has led her down some interesting professional paths. She attended Sheridan College School of Visual Arts in Oakville, where she received her graphic design diploma, and has worked extensively in the Toronto market. Carolyne brings over 20 years of industry experience to her clients. Whether as an employee, as a freelancer or in her own company, she has worked in various capacities, as an award-winning graphic designer, design consultant, web designer, illustrator, photographer, and artisan, tackling a wide variety of creative challenges.
In April of 2004 Carolyne moved to Muskoka, where she continues to meet new creative challenges with each new project. Carolyne lives in Huntsville with her husband Chris and children, Caleigh & Fionn. She has been actively involved with regional arts initiatives, and taught Tradigital & Image Design courses in the Digital Image Design Program at Fleming College, Haliburton School of the Arts.
